Commercial Lines Operations Intern - Summer 2025

With the operations internship, you will work with a mentor to learn how operations technicians play a vital role in the company’s success. You will also get opportunities to network by attending diverse social events and meeting leadership in multiple areas.

What You’ll Do

Our operations internship offers opportunities to:

• Communicate effectively with underwriting, sales, and customers while providing basic operations and service to the business and handling tasks that support processing
• Document and maintain customer information and forms necessary for policy changes
• Gather data from various sources, update applicable systems, review output for accuracy, and ensure resolution
• May complete account cancellations as requested
• Perform filing, retrieval, and distribution of various materials and documents in accordance with prescribed departments’ systems and practices

What it Takes

To be considered for this position, the following criteria is necessary:

• Pursuing an undergraduate or associate degree in Business, Insurance, Communication, or a related field
• Obtain a minimum in-major GPA of 3.00
• Expected graduation of December 2026 through May 2027
• Sentry does not offer employment in this position to holders of F-1, J-1, and H-1 Visas for the purpose of obtaining practical experience
