Role Overview
The Head of Product Strategy and Operations is a pivotal leadership role responsible for orchestrating the development and refinement of Trinity’s product roadmap and driving and strengthening processes and mindsets to enable its execution. This leader partners closely with product management, engineering, design, marketing, sales, and executive leadership to define, communicate, and facilitate the product vision and operational excellence. The role requires an exceptional blend of strategic thinking, cross-functional leadership, analytical prowess, and operational expertise. The Head of Product Strategy and Operations will serve as a force multiplier for the product organization, ensuring alignment, accountability, and agility across teams.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy Development:
- Lead the formulation of the overarching product strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market dynamics
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product roadmap and innovation initiatives
- Develop and maintain a robust framework for evaluating strategic product opportunities and prioritizing investments
- Support the product leaders of each of Trinity’s six solution sets to bring the right level of market intelligence and input from different roles in the organization in developing product roadmaps
- Orchestrate co-ordinate of strategic planning across solution sets to drive coherence and synergy across Trinity’s overall product roadmap
- Orchestrate input from strategy, analytics, growth and corporate leaders
- Drive data and partnering strategy to accelerate and augment our product roadmap, including close collaboration with corporate development
- Drive co-ordination between analytics and digital leadership, finance and product resourcing to enable agile deployment of resources, aligned to strategic priorities
Operational Excellence:
- Orchestrate quarterly OKR planning process by product teams
- Design and implement best-in-class processes, tools, and metrics that drive efficiency, quality, and transparency across product teams.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to optimize product delivery.
- Cross-Functional Leadership:
- Act as a central point of coordination for cross-functional product initiatives, ensuring timely execution and clear communication.
- Partner with engineering, design, go-to-market, and support teams to ensure alignment on objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
- Facilitate regular strategic planning sessions, product reviews, and operational check-ins with stakeholders at all levels.
- Product Portfolio Management:
- Conduct portfolio analyses to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for expansion or rationalization.
- Partner with finance and product leaders to manage budgets, resource allocation, and ROI tracking.
- Roadmap and Go-to-Market Alignment:
- Ensure the product roadmap is actionable, achievable, and communicated effectively across teams and stakeholders.
- Drive collaboration between product and marketing teams to develop compelling go-to-market strategies for new launches and enhancements.
- Support sales and customer success with product training, enablement, and continuous feedback mechanisms.
