Motorola Solutions Video Division is defining the future of the security industry through innovative end-to-end-solutions. Job Description

We are looking for a smart, self-motivated and versatile Software Engineer.  As a member or a full-stack agile team, your skills must complement the team to define, implement, test and deliver features toward our Video Product Line. 

In order to be successful in this role, you must value teamwork and collaborate effectively with a small but dynamic team.  Our agile teams vary between 3-6 members in size and are fully empowered to continuously improve.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or a related field) or 4 years of equivalent work experience

• Experience coding in C#, Javascript, Java, python, etc

• Working knowledge of Linux and Windows based development environments

• Self-driven and acts with an extreme sense of urgency

• Must be willing to work a hybrid work schedule consisting of at least 2-3 days per week in the office, and working hours overlap the designated development team's core working hours

Preferred Qualifications:

• Working knowledge in REST API/JSON

• Competency with SQL

• Masters Degree in Computer Science (or a related field) or 2 years of equivalent work experience.

• Experience build web, mobile, server applications

• Experience developing, debugging, and shipping software products on large code bases that span tech stacks, platforms and tools

• Desire to take on leadership roles as opportunities present themselves.

The position is based in either Fresno, CA or Fort Collins, CO and the candidate must reside in these areas as you will be required to work in office on a hybrid model.

The base salary range for this position in California and Colorado is $75,000 - $80,000.
