The Customer Identity and Core team (CIC) is part of Capital One’s Enterprise Product and Experience organization. The CIC team is responsible for managing the enterprise system of record for over 100 million customers, both consumers and businesses, enabling access to the company’s digital experiences and protecting critical customer account information at the highest level of security.
The products built by our team are foundational for creating seamless customer experiences, keeping customer financial well-being safe and secure, and unlocking business growth by providing a full picture of each unique human Capital One serves. Our team is building innovative platforms in the cloud that provide real-time intelligence at the customer level that unleash innovation across the company. We play a critical role in developing improved marketing experiences, intelligent underwriting insights, and smooth mobile experiences that are tailored to the individual needs of our diverse and growing customer base.

About the Job
The CIC team has an exciting opportunity for a well-rounded Manager-level associate who is interested in the Chief of Staff career path. This Manager, Chief of Staff will partner directly with senior leaders within CIC and EPX, as well as other CoS and project managers across the company, to lead the CIC team with best-in-class operating models and deep investments in talent to drive high-quality outcomes for the CIC team and partners. This role is designed to help refine and improve existing operations, people & culture, and daily management processes for the CIC leadership team and will be assigned special projects on an as-needed basis. Responsibilities may include managing key projects with finance and recruiting, developing guidelines and change management plans for critical team-wide functions, development of material for leadership, and support of business-as-usual (BAU) processes including recurring leadership meetings & offsites. They will serve as a force multiplier, identifying and addressing gaps, streamlining decision-making, and fostering collaboration through relationships across teams and organizations.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong relational, organizational, and communication skills. They will be adept at navigating complex challenges, driving process improvements, and fostering collaboration across teams. Whether leading special initiatives, liaising with key partners, or championing culture, they will be a key thought partner in ensuring the organization operates with clarity, efficiency, and agility. This role is ideal for someone with a background in analytics, product, operations, or project management within a fast-paced environment.

Excellent G-Suite skills, in particular Sheets and Slides
