Supports Workforce Strategy and Optimization team operations through administration and technical aspects of system-wide labor improvement analysis. Completes data analysis for goals, standards, and objectives which support the strategic plan and vision of the enterprise. This position manages performance data and productivity information needed to control labor expense in real time. Engages with workforce team members and system leaders for coordination of labor strategy activities across the organization.Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages and merges complex data from multiple data sources for daily/weekly position control activities.
- Provides support to management in the use of position control data for decision making.
- Coordinates preparation of position control files for utilization system wide.
- Assists senior leadership in reviewing FTE utilization by pay period and provides updates reports as requested.
- Utilizes critical thinking and customer-oriented approach to respond to inquiries while providing support and education to hiring managers.
- Manages complex data to support scheduled updates to workforce analytics and dashboards providing labor insights to all ministries.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
- Bachelors’ degree in healthcare administration, nursing, organizational development, business, quality or related field
EXPERIENCE
- Three years’ experience in healthcare administration, nursing, organizational development, business, quality or related field
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
- Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
- Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
- Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
- Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
- Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
- Rare climbing.
