Sr. Deployment Manager – Remote CST Preferred (US Travel Required)

The Senior Deployment Manager is a strategic leader responsible for driving the successful integration, implementation, and adoption of Ambry’s digital health solutions, including CARE and EMR integrations, across complex healthcare systems. This senior role combines project management, technical expertise, and consultative leadership to shape deployment strategy, influence clinical transformation initiatives, and ensure measurable outcomes for clients and Ambry. 

Acting as a trusted advisor, the Senior Deployment Manager leads multiple concurrent large-scale EHR integration projects, aligning internal and external stakeholders, mitigating risk, and championing best practices that support clinical workflow optimization and genetic testing utilization. This role drives continuous improvement by mentoring junior deployment managers, advising product teams, and contributing to scalable frameworks that strengthen Ambry’s market presence and operational excellence. 

 Essential Functions

  • Own the end-to-end deployment strategy for high-impact client engagements, from integration design through go-live and post-launch optimization
  • Serve as a senior-level consultant to healthcare executives and technical teams, guiding digital transformation efforts and shaping long-term adoption plans
  • Mentor junior deployment managers, sharing expertise in EMR integrations, project delivery, and client engagement best practices
  • Lead integration efforts involving HL7, FHIR, API, and SFTP solutions, ensuring technical accuracy, compliance, and scalability across multiple systems
  • Proactively identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and maintain executive-level communication to ensure alignment and timely resolution of issues 
  • Drive enhancements to deployment methodologies, documentation standards, and operational workflows to improve efficiency and client satisfaction
  • Monitor deployment metrics, adoption trends, and utilization data to ensure project success and inform strategic decisions
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Client Solutions to influence roadmap priorities and improve product readiness for implementation
  • Present project updates, outcomes, and recommendations to senior client and internal leadership, aligning deployment impact with business objectives
  • Travel up to 30% to lead client workshops, executive planning sessions, and on-site go-live support
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare IT, implementation, project management, or EMR integration, including leadership of enterprise-scale integrations
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client-facing skills 
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment 
  • Strong working knowledge of EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, Athena, etc.) and integration technologies (HL7, FHIR, SFTP, APIs) 
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical requirements into client-ready solutions 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Ability to lead project teams, mentor peers, and influence decision making at an executive level 

Preferred

  • Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Informatics, or related field 
  • PMP, CPHIMS, or other relevant certification 
  • Experience driving adoption of genetic testing workflows, precision medicine, or population health initiatives 
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM/project tracking systems
