Pyramid Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Nurse Supervisor to provide clinical leadership at our inpatient behavioral health and substance use treatment facility in Concord, NC.

As the Nurse Supervisor, you'll oversee daily nursing operations, mentor and support nursing staff, ensure exceptional patient care, and partner with clinical and medical leadership to maintain a safe, compliant, and recovery-focused environment. What You'll Do

Clinical Leadership

  • Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and support to the nursing team

  • Participate in daily treatment team meetings and communicate clinical updates to staff

  • Monitor high-risk patients to ensure safety, quality care, and continuity of treatment

  • Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring medications, prescriptions, and discharge instructions are completed accurately

  • Oversee detoxification protocols and monitor patient progress throughout treatment

  • Maintain accurate census and bed management information

Staff Supervision & Development

  • Assist with scheduling, staffing, and shift coverage

  • Support recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, training, and performance management of nursing staff

  • Coach and mentor team members while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and clinical excellence

  • Serve as a clinical resource for nursing staff and assist with complex patient care needs

  • Participate in the nursing on-call rotation as assigned

Quality & Compliance

  • Conduct nursing chart audits and documentation reviews

  • Ensure accurate Medication Administration Records (MARs) and medication management practices

  • Promote compliance with HIPAA, state regulations, accreditation standards, and Pyramid Healthcare policies

  • Assist with incident investigations, corrective action plans, and quality improvement initiatives

  • Ensure required consents, assessments, and clinical documentation are completed accurately and on time

Clinical Coordination

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, pharmacy partners, and the interdisciplinary treatment team

  • Assist with medication prior authorizations and insurance-related clinical documentation

  • Monitor laboratory testing, review results, and ensure appropriate provider follow-up

  • Verify HCG testing and other required clinical protocols prior to medication administration

  • Provide direct patient care as needed, including nursing assessments, medication administration, detox oversight, and emergency response

Qualifications

Required

  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina

  • Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)

  • Valid driver's license

  • Strong knowledge of behavioral health, substance use disorders, detoxification services, and nursing b
