As a Security Professional - Shopping Center - Overnight Shift in Foothill Ranch, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a bustling retail center. In this unarmed patrol post, you will conduct regular patrols throughout the location, remaining highly visible to help to deter potential security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to customers and tenants. Your presence and approachable demeanor will allow you to deliver exceptional customer service, respond promptly to situations, and communicate clearly with both the public and your team. This position requires driving as part of your patrol responsibilities, so a valid driver's license is necessary. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and mall location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activity to Allied Universal management and client representatives as required.
• Assist with access control, monitor entrances and exits, and interact with the public to support a welcoming and secure environment.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and client staff to address security-related needs and provide information or assistance as needed.
• Remain alert and aware of surroundings while on patrol, adapting to varying working environments and conditions throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only, and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements for primarily driving posts.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
