About the Role & Team
The Production Record Manager will work alongside the Studio Production Resources team to manage the Production Records and help oversee the casting needs for productions working with producers.
What You Will Do
- Manage Production Schedulers
- Work with casting admin to organize SAG paperwork including all necessary materials needed for residual payments
- Work with Producers & Post Production Line Producer on Recording and Studio Budgets
- Review necessary information for casting credits
- Collaborate with Casting Admin on non-talent EDRs
- Manage Lip-Sync tracker working with production
- Stay up to date on talent’s non TVA commitments
- Onboard show producers with any necessary training for process including invoices and SAG rules
- Work alongside production and post production for potential third party needs
- Responsible for keeping recording airtable up to date working with Production Schedulers
- Lead monthly meetings with Finance, Producers, Brand Franchise, Music and Casting
- Help facilitate in the onboarding of new vendors (Casting Directors, Voice Directors, and Third Party)
- Approve Invoices for Records, Minor Talent Groups, Voice Directors, and Studio Teachers
- Work in conjunction with Casting Executives and Producers aiding in facilitating Awards submissions through DTVA when applicable. Point of contact for all casting awards
- Weekly review of timecards
Required Qualifications & Skills
The ideal candidate has a well-rounded understanding of the casting and recording process within animation, and has strong communication skills and a good attitude that aligns well with working with talent, agents, and producers.
- Background in series animation
- Proven ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to partner with Creatives and Executives, collaborate with peers, and manage a team
- Strong knowledge of SAG rules and regulations including working with minors
- Experience working in casting environment, which may include casting and voice directing
- Preferred experience in a recording studio environment
- Basic understanding of audio recording process
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent years of experience
