Specific Responsibilities Would Include

As a key member of the Sales team, the Senior Sales Executive will drive growth and profitability for the Dockers brand under Centric Brands. This position plays a pivotal role in executing strategic initiatives, building strong customer relationships, and driving business results. The ideal candidate brings deep industry experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and a passion for elevating iconic brands in a competitive marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Innovation

  • Drive growth by identifying and cultivating new specialty store accounts and deepening relationships with existing partners.

  • Conduct competitive market research and trend analysis to inform sales strategy and share relevant insights with internal teams.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop seasonal line plans and tailor assortments for each account based on brand direction and customer needs.

  • Present and execute strategic sales proposals, including brand positioning, key initiatives, and optimal in-store placement, including potential in-store shops.

Operations & Results

  • Oversee daily account operations including order management, distribution tracking, and delivery timelines.

  • Partner with sales planning and customer service teams to ensure order fulfillment and resolve shipment or credit issues.

  • Analyze weekly sales and inventory data to develop merchandising recommendations, reorders, and markdown strategies.

  • Collaborate with finance and operations to manage bookings, credit terms, and shipping logistics.

Customers & Relationships

  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with specialty store buyers and regional teams.

  • Act as the key liaison between customer and internal teams, including Sales, Design, and Production.

  • Partner with retail coordinators to ensure flawless in-store execution of merchandising and sales strategies.

  • Manage co-op marketing, promotional allowances, and givebacks as needed.

Leadership & Teams

  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment and communicate needs or issues proactively to leadership.

  • Support and coach junior team members on sales strategy, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Participate in team recruitment, development, and retention efforts.

  • Represent Dockers at trade shows, market appointments, and in-store visits.

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

  • 5–8+ years of progressive sales experience, ideally within the apparel, fashion, or lifestyle brand sector.

  • Proven ability to grow business and manage complex customer relationships.

  • Strong analytical skills with fluency in retail math and business KPIs.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with SAP a strong plus.

  • Knowledge of product development cycles, merchandising, supply chain, packaging, and marketing within the retail environment.
