You Are:
The Infrastructure Security Product Owner will be responsible for running an agile team and maximizing the value delivered by the team by ensuring that the team backlog is aligned with customer and stakeholder needs. The team will be responsible for making sure AFS enterprise systems align with defined security and technical controls and are implemented in a compliant manner. The Product Owner will be working with the various application owners to ensure the systems meet the defined controls (e.g. configuration management, access management, audit, and logging policies, etc.). The Product Owner will serve as the liaison between multiple areas including the Infrastructure, Application and Security teams. This person communicates with business stakeholders and collaborates closely to keep all areas of the business informed on a project's development.
Responsibilities Will Include:
- Leverage technical knowledge and skills on how systems work to effectively support engineering teams in delivering value.
- Contribute to the development of a healthy product backlog, break down business epics, document user stories (to also include things like addressing technical debt, SRE, etc.), design details and comprehensive acceptance criteria.
- Lead internal backlog refinement sessions, prepare business epics and stories for technical breakdown and planning, and ensure requirements are well understood by the engineering teams.
- Act as a technical advisor to the engineers and other stakeholders.
Here's What You Need:
- U.S. Citizenship Required
- 5+ years of experience solving Infrastructure & Security related technical challenges.
- 5+ years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into products.
- 4+ years of experience in technical writing, audit and documentation, and system deliverables
- 4+ years of experience in scaled agile product management.
- 4+ years of experience working in an IT service management or security environment.
- 4+ years of relevant experience delivering and sustaining technical and cloud solutions, and managing a supporting team.
- Experience with iterative development methodologies.
- Consistent track record managing large and complex products.
- Proven ability to work independently and as a team member in a corporate environment.
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organization, multi-tasking, status reporting, and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail
Bonus Points if you have:
- Familiarity with Federal NIST standards and Guidelines
- Previous work on US Federal engagements
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to identify potential areas of improvement and make recommendations for improvement.
- Ability to develop strong professional relationships with fellow team members.
- Customer service skills
Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington State as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.
Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role:
- California: $111,400 - $213,600
- Colorado: $11,400 - $184,300
- New York: $103,200 - $213,600
- Washington State: $118,700 - $196,400
