Sitting in the US, this role acts as the key liaison between local HR teams, finance, third-party payroll providers, and employees, ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal policies.</p> <p><strong>Essential Job Functions </strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage the payroll email inbox and respond to inquiries related to international payroll activities</li> <li>Act as the primary point of contact for payroll queries from employees and internal teams</li> <li>Coordinate monthly payroll processing for employees across APAC and LATAM regions in collaboration with external payroll vendors</li> <li>Review and validate payroll inputs (e.g. new hires, terminations, bonuses, overtime, benefits, tax details)</li> <li>Perform gross-to-net pay checks and reconciliation reports, ensuring accurate and timely payments</li> <li>Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements (tax, social security, pensions, etc.)</li> <li>Stay updated on payroll legislation and regulatory changes in each country within remit</li> <li>Maintain accurate employee records in the HR/payroll systems</li> <li>Support audits and reporting requirements related to payroll</li> <li>Collaborate with Finance on payroll funding, journal entries, and month-end reporting</li> <li>Prepare, reconcile, and post semi-monthly and monthly payroll journal entries for international locations</li> <li>Perform balance sheet reconciliations and complete BlackLine reviews for global entities during month-end close</li> <li>Assist in implementing payroll process improvements and system enhancements</li> </ul> <p><strong>Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>2+ years’ experience in multi-country payroll, ideally across both APAC and LATAM regions</li> <li>Solid understanding of payroll legislati
