General Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain public areas, resident rooms, restrooms, handrails, and floors throughout the day.
  • Dust and clean walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, towel bars, and dispensers.
  • Empty trash, replace liners, and sweep/mop floors.
  • Follow safety protocols, including caution signage and proper handling of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas in a clean and organized manner.
  • Notify supervisors of safety concerns, supply needs, or resident issues promptly.
  • Provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude and effective time management.
  • Work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; long-term care experience preferred.
  • Must be able to lift to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, kneeling, and using cleaning equipment.
