Sr FP&A Manager

Role: Senior FP&A Manager (NO DIRECT REPORTS),

Location: Sherman Oaks, CA (Hybrid Role)

We are looking for a Senior FP&A Manager to act as a strategic business partner for a global production company. This key role involves driving financial planning, pricing, forecasting, and analysis to support our global operations and growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Planning:

• Partner with executive leadership to shape and refine the company’s financial strategy and long-term plan.
• Offer insights and recommendations on the financial impact of business decisions to enhance profitability and efficiency.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Manage the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to set financial goals.
• Lead the development of accurate financial forecasts, identifying key drivers and potential risks.

Financial Analysis:

• Perform detailed financial analyses, including variance, trend, and scenario modeling, to inform decision-making.
• Provide regular reports and insights on key financial metrics and performance against targets.

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and present timely and accurate financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work with Operations, Sales, and Marketing departments to gather data and insights for financial planning.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to align financial planning with actual results.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; MBA or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.
