Job Description

You’ll join the Core Services group building BrandBot, a marketing automation and customer data platform, and other services supporting the Xplor Platform. We’re helping our clients understand their customers, expand their reach, and grow their businesses with easy-to-use, API-first services. 

We are currently seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in achieving our goals, ranging from scaling our infrastructure to implementing and managing core services. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about contributing to every aspect of the development process, from initial planning and design to final delivery. We value collaboration and expect our engineers to pair regularly to solve problems.

Our technical stack includes: Node.js, PHP, Vue.js, Python, Serverless, AWS, Terraform, and GitHub Actions

Responsibilities

• Understand the “why” of what we’re trying to accomplish before the “how.”
• Take a key role in designing and implementing infrastructure solutions in collaboration with the team.
• Contribute to the development of Node.js microservices.
• Ensure the delivery of robust features that are well-tested and meet acceptance criteria.
• Advocate for and drive improvements in the team's technology and processes.
• Support the professional growth of your colleagues by conducting code reviews and providing constructive, respectful feedback.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building scalable infrastructure for APIs and web applications.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, e.g. Terraform, for AWS or Azure.
• Experience with server-side JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience with building or managing CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Working knowledge of relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Bonus: Experience working with event-based systems. 
• Bonus: Experience with Python or PHP web applications.

The average base salary pay range for this role is between $80,000 -$90,000 USD

May be considered for a discretionary bonus
