Job Description:

The Business Systems Specialist performs systems analysis assignments with varying degrees of supervision. The Business Systems Specialist also provides complex technical business support to clients that utilize small/midsize/enterprise level systems.

Role Criticality:

  • Lead and manage the assigned data management workstream end-to-end
  • Responsible for deep dive analysis on data in Rahona Cloud and develop the processes to establish and implement  the data quality rules framework and monitoring capabilities.
  • Review and provide feedback to other team members on their work
  • Driving enterprise tool adoption - Collibra/tooling integrations for AMCB DaaS, both on prem and in cloud, including DaaS owned AZ's.
  • Provide Audit/Compliance support from DaaS platform data management perspective, adhere to EDMO Data Management Standard thereby supporting TD's journey towards data driven organization.

Depth & Scope:

  • Communicates with programmers to ensure understanding of business processes and requirements of the users. Works with programmers to ensure that the delivered system matches the specified features and functions
  • Assesses available technologies recommending innovative and cost-effective solutions
  • Analyzes business challenges and recommends appropriate IT solutions and services
  • Maps current business processes to new systems and supports the transition to the new solution
  • Determines interface requirements for effective system transition
  • Resolves issues that cross multiple systems or departments that may affect the business process
  • Develops detailed specification documents that include features and functions of the new system
  • Develops test plans and test case scenarios to guarantee the new system design meets business requirements
  • Implements new system installations, upgrade and conversions
  • Documents selected system parameters, file layouts and application design layouts. Tracks open issues and resolution of issues

    Education & Experience:

    • 4 Year Degree or equivalent experience
    • 7+ Years of related experience
    • Excellent communications, problem-solving and decision making skills
    • Progressively responsible experience in large scale corporate systems analysis
    • Previous management experience required
    • Ability to work with systems users or potential users to develop system specifications and requirements, applying business systems knowledge to ensure relevant areas of research are addressed
    • Ability to independently translate user requirements into technical specifications
