Job Summary
The Campus Activity Board, Student Employee supports the Office of Student Involvement in providing social, educational, and cultural programs that reflect student interests and encourage campus engagement. As a member of the Campus Activity Board (CAB), the student employee contributes programming ideas, assists with event preparation and promotion, and provides on-site support for campus programs and traditions. Work is performed under the direction of professional staff and may include evening and weekend assignments.

Job Responsibilities
- Supports the mission of the University and serves as an ambassador of the Q2 culture of service excellence
- Models, supports, and holds others accountable to the University’s values
- Contributes ideas for Campus Activity Board programs and traditions based on student interests, feedback, and departmental priorities.
- Assists professional staff with the planning and delivery of approved campus programs and events.
- Assists with event logistics, including materials, supplies, setup, check-in, guest support, cleanup, and post-event documentation.
- Communicates approved event information to students, campus partners, and vendors under the direction of professional staff.
- Assists with approved marketing and promotional materials for Campus Activity Board programs and events.
- Serves as a welcoming event host and representative of the Office of Student Involvement.
- Identifies event concerns or unexpected issues and promptly refers matters involving safety, risk, contracts, finances, or university policy to professional staff.
- Collects student feedback and basic participation information to support the review and improvement of future programs.
- Collaborates with other student employees, professional staff, campus partners, and student leaders.
- Supports departmental programs and initiatives outside the employee’s primary assignment when needed.
- Participates in required training and staff meetings and performs work in accordance with university policies, established procedures, and supervisor direction.
- Works assigned evening and weekend programs and events.
Job may require other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications –An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered. Additional requirements may be designated by position.
