About the role

Description

The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Cardiology, is searching for full-time faculty members at any rank in the area of general and preventive cardiology, with experience or interest in Cardio-Oncology. Appointees will have clinical responsibilities including outpatient clinic with an emphasis on Cardio-Oncology, reading EKGs, and general cardiology inpatient ward and consultative cardiology predominantly at our main campus and, if needed, at affiliated sites. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation are dependent upon qualifications. Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: (1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, (2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the state of Illinois, and (3) be Board Certified or Eligible in Cardiology.

We additionally welcome applicants with a background in pharmacology, translational or outcomes research and/or clinical trials and registries.
