Sr. Technical Program Manager - I&T

Summary of Position:

The Sr TPM – I&T will drive the planning, execution, and delivery of test equipment programs for satellite system validation. This individual partners with engineers, technicians, suppliers, and customers to ensure racks and fixtures are designed, validated, and delivered on-time and within budget.

Essential Functions:

•    Responsible for schedules, budgets, and deliverables for multiple test equipment development programs.

•    Lead stakeholder communication between engineering, suppliers, and customer technical teams.

•    Drive program risk management, change control, and scope alignment.

•    Ensure traceability of requirements from customer spec → test equipment validation.

•    Coordinate test equipment validation campaigns, readiness reviews, and approvals.

•    Provide program dashboards, KPIs, and customer-facing reports.

•    Resolve execution conflicts (scope vs. cost vs. schedule).

•    Support staffing forecasts, supplier selection, and procurement for test assets.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee in this position frequently communicates with other co-workers/clients who have inquiries about the various projects and other needs.  Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.  The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.  The employee in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.  Constantly operate a computer and office machinery such as a calculator, keyboard, copy machine, and printer.  Frequently moves boxes with equipment weighing up to 25lbs across the building and/or to other offsite buildings for various project needs.

Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Program Management, or related

7+ years managing aerospace/avionics test or I&T programs

Qualifications:

•    Experience running cross-functional hardware/software projects.

•    Familiarity with aerospace validation standards (MIL/DO/NASA).

Preferred Qualifications

•    Master’s degree in Systems, Program Management, or Technical field.

•    PMP or equivalent certification.

•    Prior aerospace customer-facing experience.

•    Familiarity with Agile/EVMS tools.

Other Requirements

•    Onsite in Redmond, WA; lab engagement required.

•    Travel up to 15% to suppliers/customers
