About the role

We are excited to be on the search for our Dental Supply Chain Specialist! In this pivotal role, you will be a key contributor to the successful support of our partner practices. Your responsibilities will include providing assistance and timely responses to procurement-related requests, ensuring smooth vendor relations, and managing purchasing processes. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in ensuring policies and procedures are followed to maintain efficiency and compliance. This role also involves identifying bottlenecks in the procurement process and proposing solutions to enhance operational effectiveness, ultimately supporting the delivery of high-quality service to our partner practices.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Gather vendor information to establish new accounts (e.g., W-9, bank details).
  • Assist the Accounts Payable department with missing invoices and resolving discrepancies.
  • Provide updates on the status of purchased equipment.
  • Place orders and track shipments when necessary.
  • Reroute packages incorrectly shipped to the wrong locations.
  • Maintain up-to-date vendor and office spreadsheets.
  • Support the Purchasing Manager with various projects.
  • Address procurement and purchasing-related questions and needs.
  • Serve as a power user for Dentira.
  • Provide training and support to all locations regarding SKUs, vendors, and errors.
  • Set up new user accounts and update location information.
  • Help maintain Dentira’s data integrity.
  • Gather vendor information to assist the Facilities Manager.
  • Support purchasing activities related to facilities projects.
  • Assist in collecting information for cost-saving initiatives.

 

Requirements:

 

  • 5-7 years of experience in Procurement/supply chain
  • Excellent communication in verbal and written
  • Driven: self-starter, excellent time management skills, able to manage priorities across a network of practices, and ready to roll up your sleeves and get things done
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Background in healthcare is a plus

Work Conditions:

 

  • Candidate must be able to work in office 4 days a week and 1 remote.
  • Candidate must be able to travel as required for business needs.
  • Candidate must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. as needed.
  • Candidate must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.

 

Salary: $60,000 to $70,000 / annum
