Advanced Medical Transport (AMT) is the premier provider of emergency and scheduled ambulance services in Central and Western Illinois, as well as parts of Iowa. AMT is a private, not-for-profit organization operated for community benefit.

Do you thrive in a fast-paced healthcare transportation environment and have a passion for helping others? The primary focus will be to handle the day-to-day behavioral health safety operations by schedule management, handling correspondence, and record maintenance. 

What You'll Do:



Works closely with AMT’s Human Resources recruiter to post open positions as determined by the department’s approved staffing plan. Review, screen, and schedule applicant interviews.


Maintain documentation of staff training, certifications/licenses, and mandatory CEs. Assign training modules and follow-up to ensure completion of all department staff training. 


Maintain documentation of department coaching and disciplinary records. 


Oversee department schedules assuring they are accurate, up to date, and filled as necessary. Manage technician’s time off requests and PTO. 


Review, correct, and approve departments' payroll within a rigid timeline. 


Always conducts himself/herself professionally and as a role model. Understands AMT's mission statement, philosophies, and standards and carries out those duties during the shift.   


Effectively conveys team member issues and ideas to direct supervisor and follows through by providing responses and explanation for company action to the team member. 


Produce detailed reports regarding operational problems, issues, and/or concerns. Provide necessary follow-up with the Director of Contract Services. 


Demonstrates knowledge and ability to comply with guidelines set forth in the AMT Corporate Compliance Manual & Code of Conduct.  Strictly adhere to the Employee Standards set forth in the Code of Conduct. 


Occasionally transport patients, providing compassionate patient care in accordance with the service line’s policy and procedures.

QualificationsRequired Education:


High school diploma or equivalent
Associate degree is preferred. 
Valid state driver's license
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an office setting
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to create charts, pivot tables, and graphs using Microsoft Excel.
Comfortable learning new computer programs.
