LMI is seeking a Junior SAP/ERP BASIS & Security Administrator to support a DOD logistics SAP/ERP data migration effort.

This position requires an active Secret clearance, US Citizen.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Department of Defense (DOD) SAP/ERP Basis and Security expertise to help cross functional teams build and maintain Data Architectures and Data Cleaning/Transformations for SAP/ERP data pipelines.
  • Support of SAP Infrastructure activities to include the development of the technical deliverables for SAP Basis and infrastructure projects.
  • Provide support to project teams during the development cycle and provide technical/infrastructure support during deployments, including assess, install, configure and maintain SAP applications and infrastructure. Well-versed with SAP Data Dictionary, SAP Solution Manager, Transport management.
  • Provide support of SAP application, database and data center migration to include migrating SAP Oracle data from the source to target system and provide go-live support.
  • Provide support to the support elements to escalate, diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Architect, implement, and sustain DOD SAP/ERP Data Operations (e.g. microservices, containerization, serverless architectures) and data operations stacks.
  • Review and edit access control for Segregation of Duties (SoD) and critical action risk rule set:
    • Implement SAP GRC Access Controls software to be used for resolving SOD conflicts for the SAP ECC system.
    • Apply SAP Security and User ID procedures to provision SAP user accounts.
    • Assign authorization for testing, diagnose authorization issues, and provide corrective recommendations.
  • Apply modern data processing technologies and methods, such as databases, data lakes, etc. Apply modern SaaS platform, integration and extensibility concepts.
  • Data Architecture validation for SAP/ERP based products in various configurations in a private cloud environment.
  • Provide advice on project costs, design concepts, or design changes given customer constraints.
  • Work closely with Cybersecurity resources to document controls, support accreditation, Interim Authorization to Test (IATT) and Authority to Operate (ATO) documentation and provide metrics to comply with audits.
  • Test software on various environments to identify key considerations and chalk out roadmap for future customer deployments.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a SECRET security clearance, US Citizen.
  • Knowledge of Department of Defense (DOD) SAP / ERP systems.
  • Must be able to work in a highly charged and fast-paced environment to prioritize and complete assigned tasks based on guidance from senior leadership. Interacts across organizational teams.
  • Knowledge of system life cycle management principles, including software security and usability.
  • Prior participation in full lifecycle implementation, upgrade or migration projects
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience with relational databases (Oracle/HANA) in an SAP environment.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience working with operating systems (Unix/Linux/Windows) in an SAP environment.
  • Knowledge of data engineering testing and evaluation methods.
  • Working knowledge of AWS products and capabilities.
  • DOD Cyber Workforce (DCWF) 8140 (451) Systems Administrator: A BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution fulfills the educational requirement for this WRC (conferred within 5 years or able to prove continuous relevant work experience) -OR- Personnel Certifications: Cloud+ or GICSP or SSCP or Security+ or GSEC.  If none, must be willing to obtain in first 30-days.
  • Ability to create and foster a cooperative work environment.
  • Self-directed, detail oriented in completing assigned tasks, able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage impact of shifting priorities.
  • Availability for occasional travel.
