Overview
LMI is seeking a Technical Integrator SME to support a United States Army client, developing a next generation command and control platform. This individual will have extensive experience across DevOps, Data, Networking, and the US Military.

This position requires an active Secret clearance.
Responsibilities
- Leading a team of Cloud/Network SMEs supporting the client in developing complex data transport solutions from the tactical edge to a cloud based environment
- Provide deep technical expertise across DevOps, Cloud, Data, tactical communications, and emerging government technology solutions
- Provide analysis and application of existing and emerging government technology policy – focus on policy that impacts the Army tech arena
- Lead and author white papers for high-level government stakeholder on technical concepts
- Lead detailed planning efforts in concert with government stakeholders
- Provide expert technical consultation on proprietary software solutions for government stakeholders
- With limited guidance, be able to define a complex technical problem, develop a proposed solution, and present that solutions to senior internal and government stakeholders
- Coordinate data transport work across multiple Lines of Effort
- Align work and communication to effectively message to diverse stakeholders
- Communicate strategically to internal, external and industry partners
- Represent a large program professionally to diverse stakeholders
- Support senior leader engagements
- Support long-term planning of LMI internal and Program macro planning
- Engage and manage relationships across the US Army, LMI, and Industry
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, computer science or similar
- Minimum 10-years of experience working with cross-functional teams in the tech arena
- Demonstrated experience delivering solutions that meet federal security requirements (FISMA, NIST, RMF)
- Demonstrated experience bringing an application into production
- Demonstrated excellent grasp of DevOps & Agile methodologies
- Familiarity with GitLab
- Demonstrated experience with data privacy, data protection, and data compliance
- Demonstrated experience architecting cloud-based digital solutions/applications
- At least one associate level cloud certification such as AWS Solutions Architect or similar
- At least one networking certification such as NET+ or CCNA
- Knowledge of various operating systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS)
- Understanding of network device types, especially firewalls, routers, switches and Wide Area Network (WAN) Optimizer appliances
- Demonstrated experience managing diverse stakeholders and complex projects
- A DoD 8570.01 approved certification such as SEC+, Certified Cloud Security Practitioner (CCSP), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
Desired Qualifications:
- S./Ph.D. in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, computer science, or similar
- Demonstrated experience working with current US Army command and control systems
- Demonstrated experience with US Army communications equipment
- Demonstrated experience solving communications related problems in a tactical environment
- CCNP certification
- AWS Architect Professional certification
- CISSP certification
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, K8s)
- Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
