About the role:
WebLogic Developer
The Oracle Government, Defense and Intelligence team is looking for an experienced, hands-on WebLogic Developer to support our customers across the Intelligence Community and the Department of Defense. In this role, you will work directly with end customers as well as our product teams to enhance solutions with Oracle products and services.
Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. May lead the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget. May act as the team lead on projects, providing coaching, guidance and feedback to develop skills of team members. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and leads detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.
Required Skills:
At least 8 years of working experience
• 5+ years experience implementing, customizing and supporting the Oracle Fusion Middleware Stack
• Working experience with application lifecycle methodologies (e.g. agile, iterative)
• Working experience in analysis, design and programming
• Working knowledge in WebLogic Server
• Proficient programming, unit and system testing skills for all levels of complexity
• Ability to synthesize information quickly at a high level and makes decisions in ambiguous situations
• Ability to recognize matters of urgency and know when to escalate effort
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
• Ability to pay strong attention to detail, have a strong customer focus, and collaborate and function effectively in a team environment and independently on complex problems.
In-depth experience with one or more applications such as SOA/BPEL, Web Center, Oracle Access Manager, Oracle E-Business Suite and/or Oracle Business Intelligence/Data Integrator of them as it relates to Weblogic configuration.
• Weblogic installation and configuration through the use of Weblogic Scripting (WLST).
• Familiarity with automated configuration tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet is highly desired.

US: Hiring Range: from $87,000 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
