QA Supervisor - must have Dietary Supplement Manufacturing Experience

The Quality Assurance Supervisor works to ensure the dietary supplements manufactured and packaged at Pronto Fulfillment conform to all SOP, cGMPs, and other regulatory requirements. In this role, the QA Supervisor will examine products, review all documents, analytical and microbiological finished product test results, inspect the equipment and logbooks, talk with employees, and write reports.

Responsibilities:

• Perform sampling of incoming Raw Materials and Packaging Components.

• Review third-party lab test data and approve raw materials, packaging components (bottles, caps), and printed materials (labels, cartons) by placing 'Approved/Released' stickers after verifying specifications and standards.

• Responsible for observation of all manufacturing and packaging activities to ensure compliance to SOPs and GMPs. This includes, but is not limited to, weighing, blending, encapsulation and bottle packaging.

• Perform Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) after cleaning and sanitizing steps to confirm cleanliness of equipment and utensils.

• Review documents and approve production room start up.

• Review finished product analytical and microbiological test results with release criteria and provide finished product disposition.

• Communicate and report any quality issues or concerns to the Head of Manufacturing.

• Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards. Assist with data collection and analysis.

• Write reports to share observations about compliance and recommend changing the Quality Systems and processes as necessary.

• Read and review SOP’s as they apply to QC group, test forms and associated documents, process improvements that support the project.

• Document and record all quality control activities accurately and in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve any quality issues or deviations.

• Assist in the development and implementation of quality control policies and procedures, as well as continuously identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to enhance overall quality control processes.

• Act as a representative of the company's commitment to quality in all interactions with internal and external customers.

• Perform other responsibilities as needed.
  

Requirements / Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required with 2 years of experience as QA Technician, or high school diploma with 2-4 years of relevant experience

• Must have Dietary Supplement Manufacturing Experience

• 1+ year of general lab experience in material testing preferred

• Experience in materials management, inventory control systems, and customer service desired

• Team-player and good organizational skills

• General computer skills including Microsoft Office software

• General lab skills or science background desired

• The ability to distinguish colors

• Adhere to the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) policies and procedures.

• All PPE provided must be worn by employees whenever required to ensure proper and safe working conditions

Working hours & Benefits:

• Working hours: full-time from 8:00 AM till 4:30 PM (including 30 minutes unpaid lunch break), Monday to Friday.
