Cleveland Clinic Tradition Hospital in Port St. Lucie offers comprehensive surgical services in the Surgery Center. They have a dedicated team of surgeons and specialists who provide personalized care using advanced technologies and surgical techniques. As an RN in this department, you will work provide care to patients in both the pre and post-op stages. In this role, you will interact directly with patients, families and visitors, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and provide important medical information as needed. Additionally, the Cleveland Clinic system provides nurses with many professional development resources, including furthering education and online/in-person courses to enhance your skills.

Our Center for Workplace Violence Prevention and Caregiver Well-Being sets caregiver safety as a priority, identifying, reporting and responding to incidents and providing safety resources.
A caregiver in this position works days from 7:30AM – 4:00PM.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Perform telephone triage.
Notify physicians/LIPs of abnormal findings.
Establish a care plan in collaboration with the patient, family, and health care team.
Collaborate with care coordinators to ensure smooth and effective transitions of care.
Assist with specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physician/LIP and monitor patients for response.
Participate in quality initiatives, process improvements, and research activities to improve patient outcomes, patient experience, and patient safety.
Maintain professional growth and development in the nursing field and identify annual core competencies.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Graduate of accredited school of nursing (ADN or BSN program)
