Mobile Equipment Fleet Assistant/Fleet Mechanic
Position Overview
JLL seeks a skilled Fleet Mechanic to perform preventative and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and mobile fleet assets while ensuring safety compliance and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on manufacturing process equipment and fleet vehicles
- Manage spare parts inventory and execute work orders within 24-hour timeframes
- Maintain safety training compliance and participate in safety programs
- Utilize maintenance management systems for documentation and tracking
- Maintain current forklift and aerial lift certifications
Required Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years facility/fleet maintenance experience
Technical Skills: Proficiency with pumps, motors, hydraulic systems, and speed/feed systems
Certifications: Valid forklift and aerial lift operator licenses
Skills: Strong communication skills and Microsoft Office proficiency
Preferred Qualifications
- 8-10+ years maintenance experience
- MAXIMO or CMMS system experience
- Controller programming knowledge
- Manufacturing facility background
Performance Measures
Safety compliance, PM completion rates, emergency response times (<24 hours), equipment uptime metrics
