About the Team
 

The Card Site team is at the forefront of Capital One's largest business, helping potential customers who are looking for a credit card find the right one and apply. The team is responsible for keeping all pages up to date and for optimizing the website to help it better meet customer and business needs. Card Site is one of the largest practitioners of rapid test-and-learn methodology within Capital One and a major driver of acquisitions growth.

Role Description:

We are looking for a Product Manager to join our team to lead our Platform & Capabilities pillar. You will be a key driver of enablement and growth - leading all aspects of the tools and technology that make it easier to execute changes and testing on the Site. In this role you will:

  • Define and drive the Card Site platform & capabilities roadmap. This includes developing a vision and plan to enhance the platform’s capabilities, ensuring it meets the needs of the business and customers. You will also own the prioritization and investments for new capabilities, such as validation tooling or the architecture to enable real-time personalization at scale.

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product managers, fostering high-performers and a culture of professional growth.

  • Partner with the product managers, engineers, analysts, and designers on the Card Site team to understand the challenges and opportunities they face, and communicate priorities to key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and buy-in.

  • Collaborate with partners in Card and Enterprise who own platforms we depend on to ensure their platforms meet our unique needs.

  • Leverage data insights, user feedback, and performance metrics to make informed product decisions and optimize performance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience working in Product Management

  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date: 

    • A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)

    • A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products
