Senior/Staff Technical Services Consultant - Salesforce

As a Technical Consultant at Ridgeline, with a specialization in Salesforce and CRM Technologies, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and iterating the Salesforce Connector between Ridgeline and our customers’ Salesforce deployments.  You will use your extensive knowledge of Salesforce tools, development, and the Salesforce ecosystem to build and enhance the connector.  You will also leverage our low-code integration iPaaS (Workato) and/or Salesforce languages including Apex and Lightning/web components.  Further, you will help manage Ridgeline’s Salesforce integration roadmap features and deliverables, and effectively communicate these ideas to internal stakeholders and customers.  

What You’ll Do: 

• Architect, design and develop intermediate and advanced integrations utilizing modern technologies effectively and efficiently especially between Ridgeline and leading CRM systems
• Contribute to Ridgeline’s Integration Library utilizing our iPaaS-Workato
• Evangelize Ridgeline’s technology and communicate the value to external stakeholders
• Work with customers’ technical, functional, and project management resources to successfully ensure project go live and to set up customer deployments for success
• Responsibility for customer integration scoping and estimating, statement of work contract language, resource management, solution strategies, testing, and change management
• Assist clients with eliciting integration requirements, prepare designs, and document all processes as per complexity requirements
• Analyze current technologies and technical capabilities used by our customers to establish technical solutions and/or CRM process improvements
• Act as the liaison between customers and our product teams to tailor and fine-tune our product roadmap and customer deliverables as it relates to our API connections and integrations
• Collaborate with coworkers to determine priorities, set customer expectations and manage interdependencies between technical and functional work-streams
• Collaborate within the Professional Services team to develop an integration implementation methodology and to incorporate it in the broader Ridgeline implementation methodology
• Provide mentorship and coaching to functional and integration consultants as well as partner consultants/firms as our Professional Services organization continues to scale

• Domestic travel expected: 20-25%

Who You Are & What Makes You Qualified: 

• 5+ years’ experience with Salesforce integrations, including Environment and Organization/Tenant configuration, AppXchange publishing, Integration design and development  
• Hands-on experience with multiple high-level languages such as Python, JavaScript, C#, and/or Java, and related Salesforce development languages (Apex)
• Hands-on experience with REST or similar APIs 
• Experience working with IDEs such as PyCharm, Visual Studio Code, etc
• Experience working with Version Control software such as GitHub, Bitbucket, SVN
• Track record of successfully leading technical workstreams for customer facing implementations
• Proven ability to facilitate workshops and meetings with internal and customer teams
• Aptitude and ability for learning new technologies and technical skills quickly
• Passion for customer service
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills of technical concepts to customers. 

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with low code Integration-Platform-as-a-Service (Workato or similar), and/or modern csv data migration tools like Flatfile.io. 
• Comfortable working with Google Apps, Slack, JIRA/Confluence, AWS, Github
• Experience with investment management applications
