In this position...

We are seeking an elite IT Manager, Supply Chain Sustainability, to lead a high-performing, cross-functional organization to solve the industry’s most complex supply chain challenges in sustainability & regulatory space—from EU Battery Passport compliance across multiple programs to N-tier visibility for thousands of global suppliers.

Based in Dearborn, MI, this is a hybrid position with a required four-day onsite presence each week 

 

 

What you'll be able to do...

  • Deliver the end-to-end launch of global regulatory solutions such as the EU Battery Passport across impacted vehicle programs and battery variants. Manage the integration of cradle-to-grave regulatory attributes per battery variant through partnerships with SaaS solution provider, System Integrator, and global Joint Venture Partners. Deliver enterprise-grade strategic solution or solution enhancements for EU Deforestation (EUDR) Act, Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA), etc.
  • Deliver and scale solution enhancements for N-Tier value stream mapping for impacted high-risk material supply chain and parts. Scale ESG Audit and Contract Management to ensure compliance across pre and post contract suppliers. Migrate business processes from legacy to strategic platforms for supplier collaboration.
  • Direct the transition from fragmented point-to-point integrations with enterprise data source applications and systems to a unified Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) and Supply Chain Integrated Data Platform (SC-IDP).
  • Lead complex technical and strategic collaborations with global external partners.
  • Lead supply chain technology benchmarking, prove-outs, etc. Deliver pilots to prove out standardized, sovereign data exchange using Catena-X standards at scale with suppliers for use-cases like Product Carbon Footprint (PCF), Supplier Quality, etc.
  • Foster an "AI-native" culture within the product team. Deliver tangible Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) efficiency gains by effectively leveraging AI.
  • Apply a broad understanding of Ford enterprise architecture and technology standards and work with enterprise architects to guide and deliver future solutions/services.
  • Lead and manage a team of 12 individual contributors comprising of IT product managers, technical business analysts, and software engineers. Be responsible for skill development, coaching and counseling for direct reports.

 

 

You'll have...

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
  • 10 + years of progressive responsibilities within technology and software functions that include:
    • Technical excellence in software design, development, and deployment.
    • Functional knowledge/awareness of Supply Chain business processes and applications
    • Experience with building and delivering new software products from zero-to-launch
  • 3+ years of proven expertise in extracting, aggregating, transforming, and presenting data from diverse enterprise sources.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience, managing projects, products or teams of technical professionals.

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field
  • Ability to interact extensively with and influence senior business leaders, technology partners and vendors
  • Leverage technology and solutions partners for benchmarking, solutions identification and strategy development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management in varying areas of business and enterprise technology
  • Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating professionalism in all actions.
  • Proven experience with building global teams, knowledge and capabilities
  • Management and decision-making skills and experience
  • Strong knowledge of the business functional areas for Supply Chain
