JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Senior Reporting Analyst is responsible for using strong analytical, technical and collaborative skills for extracting, gathering, creating and delivering various reports, dashboards and analyses on key metrics.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Develops a full and detailed understanding of data available across the function as well as enterprise including familiarity with all internal and external systems involved in maintaining that data.
• Extracts and combines information from various data sources and delivers ad-hoc and scheduled complex reports to a variety of internal and external customers in a timely manner.
• Develops reporting templates to identify operational issues that help drive performance.
• Collaborates with operators in various departments to determine reporting needs and design reporting templates to combine data across software platforms in a way that’s actionable and consumable by the end user; shares templates with other Company analysts. 
• Contributes to the design of BI tools.  
• Leverages advanced business intelligence and reporting tools to design, develop and deliver dashboards and dynamic reports for business leaders to aid in the process of identifying and improving key metrics and trends.
• Supports functionally specific business processes as well as various programs and projects that require sophisticated reporting analytics.
• Maintains data integrity and compliance by running reports, auditing and analyzing information, and troubleshooting errors.
• Seeks opportunities for synergy, improvement, simplification and automation of existing processes and reporting.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Exceptional communication, customer service, problem-solving and analytical skills utilized in effectively collaborating with business and IT team members at all levels throughout the organization as well as 3rd party consultants.
• Ability to navigate, learn and utilize a centralized data warehouse and disparate business systems to perform analysis and generate reports as needed.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., formulas such as V-lookup, graphs, pivot tables, etc.), including the ability to create and generate spreadsheets and reports.
• Experience leveraging advanced analytics and visualization tools such as Birst and Tableau to design and deliver business intelligence dashboards.
• Experience and familiarity with reporting and analysis for functionally specific metrics, regulatory and/or compliance reporting.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and advanced SQL report writing skills.
• 5+ years of functional and technical experience with various systems
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related subject matter, and/or equivalent experience is highly preferred.

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $95,000
