If you are passionate about leveraging NLP</p><p>to transform the way electronic health records are processed and utilized in the healthcare industry, we invite you to join our</p><p>team and make a meaningful impact.</p><p></p><p><strong>Summary</strong></p><p>As part of the AI and data engineering department, you will work side to side with a team of AI engineers, architects and</p><p>data scientists located in multiple countries to perform research and development on AI-based technologies applied to</p><p>Healthcare Analytics.</p><p>We are seeking a talented NLP Healthcare Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the advancement of</p><p></p><p>natural language processing (NLP) technologies applied to electronic health records (EHR).</p><p></p><p><strong>This is a permanent contract (CDI) in France.</strong></p><p><strong>The Position: Senior NLP Healthcare Engineer (EHR)</strong></p><p><strong>The Role:</strong></p><p>As a passionate NLP Engineer with a strong background in medical data you will develop innovative solutions for extracting</p><p>valuable information from electronic healthcare records (EHRs), leveraging your expertise in natural language processing and</p><p>medical informatics to advance the analysis of medical data and help improve patient care.</p><p></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><strong>1. NLP Algorithm Development and Implementation:</strong></p><ul> <li>Develop and implement NLP algorithms and models tailored for processing electronics health records (EHR).</li> <li>Design and optimize systems for information extraction, entity recognition and data structuration from medical texts.</li> <li> Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables autonomously, ensuring timely and successful completion of projects. </li> <li> Stay updated with the latest advancement in NLP, machine learning, and healthcare technology to drive innovation within the team. </li> <li> Identify risks and potential roadblocks, and proactively develop strategies to mitigate them. </li> </ul><p><strong>2. Cross-Functional Collaboration:</strong></p><ul> <li> Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software developers, and medical professionals, to define and refine NLP goals and strategies. </li> <li>Collaborate with clinical experts and MDs to validate NLP outputs and refine models for specific medical use cases.</li> <li>Participate in meetings and discussions to share ideas, findings, and recommendations with internal stakeholders.</li> </ul><p><strong>3. Data Preprocessing, Model Training and Performance Evaluation:</strong></p><ul> <li>Work on Data pre-processing and cleaning to ensure high-quality input for NLP models.</li> <li>Train and fine-tune NLP models using machine and deep learning techniques and large-scale medical text datasets.</li> <li>Train the developed model and run evaluation experiments.</li> <li> Structure relevant medical information embedded in EHRs, implement and maintain data pipelines for efficient and automated processing for EHR data. </li> <li> Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in NLP by reading research papers and tracking relevant opensource projects. </li> </ul><p><strong>4.
