Quattro Consulting is seeking Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) for a potential contract within the Department of Defense (DoD). SREs are responsible for ensuring that our systems and applications are reliable, scalable, and efficient. You will work closely with a team of developers and operations professionals to optimize our infrastructure and automate processes. This is a critical role that impacts the delivery of important services to the public and requires strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Monitor, maintain, and improve the reliability, availability, and performance of our systems and applications.
- Identify and troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures to prevent future issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design highly available and scalable architecture solutions.
- Develop and implement tools and automation scripts to streamline operational processes and increase efficiency.
- Proactively analyze system performance and capacity and make recommendations for improvements.
- Participate in incident response activities, including on-call rotations, and provide timely resolution of issues.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures and implement security best practices.
Multiple positions may be hired from this announcement. This position is contingent on contract award.
Work Environment:
- Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
- Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
Physical Demands:
- While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.
- Employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.

Travel:
- 11-20% / Occasional travel.

Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Current Active Secret Clearance.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
- Proven experience working as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and networking protocols.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools such as Bash, Python, or Perl.
