Digital Finance Rerporting Specialist_

Your role in a nutshell:
 

This appendix is to enhance the Digital Finance Reporting Specialist - Senior job description to give you
a more detailed overview on the purpose and the expectations towards the role.

 

What you'll do:
 

• Lead the design and development of new excel /digital dashboards ensuring consistency and data quality:
  • HFM/Essbase / OBIEE
  • Developing new reports based on senior stakeholders request, owns the implementation (end2end)
  • Design, build & optimize the backend reporting queries.
• Ensure alignment with CoA and formatting standard 
• Works with Group Reporting on 
• IT environment and security changes.
• Cloud 
• HFR report E2E development
• (e)PBCS (Planning Budgeting 
• Cloud Service) based report design & build
• Embedded Predictive analysis and Machine Learning
• Drive process / reporting process improvement initiatives (e.g. reporting automation process, data warehouse implementation)
• Initiate & execute VBA based solutions, design the measurement of the benefits vs. investments
• Build & run SSIS data packages for automated data import / export
• Design and create Essbase scripts 
• Cloud data load process automation 
• Performs full governance of the reporting and planning activities. Participates in project meetings. Act as SME. 
• Manages operating company BI team relationship with the supported finance teams 
• Strong cooperation with other VSS organizations and functions. Occasionally acting as project manager. 
• Supports senior role migration. Captures knowledge of the migrated roles and bring it to the VSS EU.
• Coaches and trains new members of the reporting team, shares knowledge and best practices

 

 

What you'll bring to the team:

 

• Good understanding of BI technology and techniques including knowledge of data visualization and reporting tools (QlikView / QlikSense / PowerPivot /SAP Business Object, etc.) 
• Solid experience in working with Agile development and methods in cross functional organization and across different locations
• Finance/ Reporting experience 
• Advanced Microsoft program skills (MsExcel, MS Access,) 
• Use of reporting systems such as Essbase, HFM, SAP, OHP, Oracle Cloud
