We are seeking a Senior Manager Global Transportation to manage and execute our global transportation and distribution operations. In this role, you will serve our customers and business units, aligning with our Supply Chain Strategy to achieve objectives related to lead times, throughput, quality, security, and cost. <b>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</b><br/>
• Implement our global transportation strategy and plan in cooperation with the Global Logistics & Network Strategy leadership team.<br/>
• Manage best in class distribution operation and ocean and air freight operations, processes, and systems in order to enable optimal supply chain performance.<br/>
• Improve current existing distribution (import/export) functions, processes and systems to futureproof our global transportation operations and changing demands.<br/>
• Harmonize divergent demands of stakeholders to realize the department goals and objectives.<br/>
• Drive continuous improvement to maximize delivery efficiency, lower costs and insure best practices<br/>
• Be accountable for ensuring global transportation operation and adherence to agreed processing and transportation lead times.</p>

<p><br/>
<b> YOU BRING</b><br/>
• Master’s degree or similar in Business Economics, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field.<br/>
• At least 8 years of Supply Chain management experience in a multinational company, preferably with experience working for, or with 3/4PL companies.<br/>
• Profound experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems, preferable SAP.</p>
<p>• Solid working experience in a global company with a complex matrix organization across functions and regions.<br/>
• Broad knowledge of worldwide logistics, specially focused in Global Transportation (sea and air freight), customs and trade, sourcing and 4PL management<br/>
• Excellent communication skills and able to communicate at all different levels in the organization.<br/>
• Proven track record in leading complex projects, change management and driving continuous improvement, including insourcing and outsourcing services.<br/>
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken)</p>
