Sr. System Administrator

<p><b>This is a full-time position, and requires a TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph Clearance.</b></p>

<p dir="ltr"><b>2HB Incorporated is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to support its government customer in Annapolis Junction, MD.</b> </p>

<p><em>As a collaborative member of a small and mostly autonomous team, this position directly supports secure enclave development networks.</em></p>

<p><strong><u>Core Tasks</u>:</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>Conduct functional and connectivity testing to ensure continuing operability.</li>
<li>Develop and document systems administration standard operating procedures.</li>
<li>Maintain baseline system security according to organizational policies.</li>
<li>Manage accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment.</li>
<li>Plan, execute, and verify data redundancy and system recovery procedures.</li>
<li>Install, update, and troubleshoot systems and servers.</li>
<li>Comply with organization systems administration standard operating procedures.</li>
<li>Implement and enforce local network usage policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Manage system and server resources including performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability.</li>
<li>Monitor and maintain system and server configurations.</li>
<li>Perform repairs on faulty system and server hardware.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot hardware/software interface and interoperability problems.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong><u>Required</u></strong>:</p>

<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and <strong>15 years’ experience as a System Administrator</strong>, OR High school diploma and 20 years’ experience as a System Administrator</li>
<li>Experience with Windows Sever Administration, Active Directory, and Group Policy</li>
<li>Familiarity with Linux Server Administration</li>
<li>Familiarity with Broadcom VMware/ESXi, Broadcom VMWare Virtual Networking, and Broadcom VMware vCenter</li>
<li>Networking Switching and Router Management</li>
<li>Storage Management (NetApp)</li>
<li>Hardware and Operating System troubleshooting</li>
<li>System hardening</li>
<li>Security Compliance Scanning (Nessus, ACAS)</li>
<li>Understanding of project design within the scope of security (RMF) requirements</li>
<li><strong>Active DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+ )</strong></li>
<li>Ability to demonstrate cyber/IT related experience with attention to detail, customer service, oral and written communication, and problem solving.</li>
<li>TS SCI / FSP with MPO, current CI Poly (under 6 years)</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>Experience leading the implementation and support of Broadcom VMware virtualized systems and infrastructure</li>
<li><u>PowerCLI</u></li>
<li>Broadcom VMware Aria Suite, formerly called vRealize Suite</li>
<li>Broadcom VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)</li>
<li><strong>Broadcom VMware Certified Professional or other relevant VMware certification. </strong></li>
</ul>
