Transylvania University invites applications for Director of Enrollment Operations.  The Director of Enrollment Operations plays a critical leadership role within the Admissions and
Enrollment Management team(s), providing strategic direction, system administration, and support for the university's CRM system, with a strong dotted-line reporting relationship to Information Technology. This position acts as the strategic and operational bridge between the Admissions office and Information Technology Services.This position's primary responsibility is to optimize the Slate CRM to meet the evolving needs of the Admissions team throughout the entire student lifecycle, from prospect to enrollment. The role will also oversee a team responsible for CRM support and development, ensuring data integrity, system efficiency, and alignment with enrollment goals. As a member of the Admissions leadership team, this individual will contribute to the development and execution of strategic enrollment plans. This position will also support the reporting and analytics needs of the university as appropriate,
working collaboratively with Athletics, Institutional Research and other relevant departments.

Essential Duties:
● Provide strategic leadership and vision for the utilization of the university's Slate CRM system within the Admissions department as part of Enrollment Management function.
● Directly supervise and mentor CRM System users, Senior Operations Coordinator and/or other relevant staff within the Admissions team.
● Serve as a key member of the Admissions leadership team, contributing to the development and implementation of strategic enrollment plans and providing data-driven insights.
● Provide expert system administration and support for the university’s Slate CRM System, with a strong dotted-line reporting relationship to Information Technology for technical infrastructure and broader university system integrations.
● Serve as the primary liaison between the Admissions team and other key campus stakeholders such as Athletics, Financial Aid, Institutional Research, Marketing and Registrar, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration.
● Lead the development and implementation of processes within the Slate CRM to streamline Admissions workflows, enhance communication with prospective students and families, optimize student portals, and improve the efficiency and delivery of institutional reports and dashboards.
● Oversee the setup of new user accounts on the systems with appropriate access levels for the Admissions and other appropriate campus departments.
● Ensure the efficiency of the system and maintain the integrity and security of data within the Admissions CRM environment.
● Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for the use of newly developed CRM features and processes for training, cross-training, and historical purposes.
● Manage data imports and exports to third-party vendors for integration with various university systems relevant to Admissions and Financial Aid, utilizing secure data exchange methods such as SFTP and other appropriate protocols including regular cadence meetings (or as needed).
● Assign project timelines to CRM-related initiatives within Admissions and clearly communicate progress to all impacted Admissions staff and relevant stakeholders.
● Develop and deliver advanced system training to Admissions users, creating training manuals and providing ongoing support in coordination with IT as needed.

● Lead the development, modification, maintenance, and support of custom reports and dashboards for both ad-hoc and ongoing Admissions/Enrollment needs to fulfill department,
university, state, and federal mandates.
● Work closely with the Senior Vice President for Enrollment Management and other Admissions leadership to prioritize business needs using data and align CRM strategies with the evolving goals of the University.
● Collaborate effectively with other IT staff and the Director of IT Enterprise Solutions, Applications & Data Services to ensure a cohesive and well-supported CRM environment.
● Take responsibility for keeping skills current on the systems by either self-study or by taking appropriate off-site, online training classes or professional development conferences.
● Attend leadership and/or staff meetings in support of departmental and university strategies.
● Required to provide off-hours support for critical CRM system issues or upgrades impacting Admissions if needed.
● Assist with other enterprise systems on campus as needed.
● Performs other duties as assigned.
