Job description:
Engineer will build SharePoint Online components using the SharePoint Framework. They will work with other Frontend Engineers and Designers to modify and create net new components for our Intranet and other projects. They should be a strong ReactJS Engineer with demonstrated SharePoint Framework knowledge. They will work with GraphQL APIs and should have working knowledge of GraphQL clients.Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain SharePoint Online components using the SharePoint Framework (SPFx) • Collaborate with Frontend Engineers and Designers to create and modify components for our Intranet and other project • Write clean, efficient, and reusable code using ReactJS and TypeScript • Integrate GraphQL APIs and work with GraphQL clients to fetch and manipulate data • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices and coding standards • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize SharePoint Framework solutions • Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in SharePoint development and frontend engineering • Document technical specifications and maintain project documentation • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions • Mentor junior developers and share knowledge within the teamRequired Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field • 3+ years of experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on ReactJS • Demonstrated experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development • Proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+) • Experience working with GraphQL APIs and GraphQL clients • Solid understanding of SharePoint Online architecture and best practices • Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment • Experience working in the retail domain, specifically in the restaurant industryLife at Capgemini
