Associate Manager, Strategic Growth Platforms, Customer & Holistic Investment

ROLE SUMMARY:
The Associate Manager Strategic Growth Platforms will aim to create a multi-year pipeline and contribute to driving The Hershey Company growth. This individual will lead defining strategic & profitable white space and unmet demand, curating and shepherding ideas from inception to the marketplace. Initially focused on supporting SGP work accelerating growth at key customers and holistic investment processes and strategy. This individual will be responsible for providing Growth leadership based on strategic frameworks and analytics and will also execute complex analyses. This will require strong collaboration with other functions including Sales Planning, Finance, and Marketing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify pockets of growth by researching, validating, supporting, facilitating, advising, and driving initiatives
• Partner with US CMG leaders to ensure successful scaling of product and non-product commercial solutions
• Create and develop new commercial concepts to further develop strategy
• Articulate the holistic investment objectives and solutions to senior leaders 
• Complete pre-work to stand up micro-battles for launch and run micro-battles to test commercial concepts
• Executes complex and comprehensive analyses to support the development of holistic investment process
• Develops comprehensive tracking, reporting, and KPI development to support critical organizational planning processes
• Assists in the development, management, and execution of a technology roadmap

QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skills, Education, Experience, etc.):
Education: Bachelor’s degree required
Experience: Minimum 4-6 years of experience in Consumer Goods (sales/marketing/finance/analytics)

• Strong understanding of business strategy and objectives
• Strong communicator with ability to lead directly and cross-functionally
• Ability to cultivate and create excitement and engagement in the organization
• Strong technical skills (e.g., Excel, Tableau, PowerBI, PlanX, SAP, S4, IRI), with proven ability to synthesize multiple data sources
• Innovative, forward-thinking and entrepreneurial in approach
• Problem-solving mentality, intellectually curious, strong critical thinking skills
