GENERAL FUNCTIONS:

The position is responsible for ensuring accurate pricing on all mortgage loans and assisting with the management of the pipeline and interest-rate risk

Duties & Responsibilities

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Process lock requests from loan officers and ensure accurate pricing before granting the request.

2. Review all investor’s guideline updates and disseminate information to appropriate management, staff and LO’s.

3. Daily analysis of all investor rates upon morning releases and any updates throughout the day.

4. Daily update & production of rate sheets to all staff and LO’s within guidelines and margins as set by management.

5. Work with LO’s in determining pricing scenarios and negotiating price adjustments as necessary within the parameters as set by management..

6. Promotes honest and open communication throughout the organization.

7. Demonstrate behaviors that are consistent with the organizations’ values, philosophies, and leadership characteristics.

8. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

1. Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.

2. Basic understanding of decimals/fractions.

3. Ability to resolve interpersonal conflict and miscommunications.

4. Keenly aware of timing to fulfill required deadlines

5. Knowledge of spreadsheet software and ability to use word processing software.

6. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

7. Must be able to be bonded.

 

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:

In this position, individual will be expected to lift up to 20 pounds from time to time. Also, must be able to stoop, bend, reach or stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This position is expected to work in general office environment.

 

 

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Some secondary marketing or equivalent experience preferred. Must be self-motivating and task oriented.
