Summary/Primary Role:
This role will be executing strategic deals and advancing the contract process with clients. They will work closely with clients and customers to ensure smooth communication and support the progression of transactions from initiation through contract finalization. The role also involves close collaboration with other internal departments to gather and relay essential data to clients, facilitating an informed and efficient deal-making process.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

- Assist the Senior Director of Business Development in managing and advancing key transactions, ensuring timely progression of all deal stages.
- Coordinate the preparation, review, and execution of contracts, managing timelines to ensure all documents are processed efficiently.
- Gather and analyze critical information needed for client engagements, supporting data-driven decision-making, handling inquiries, providing updates, and maintaining positive relationships throughout the deal cycle.
- Maintain organized records of deal progress, client interactions, and contract statuses, generating reports as needed to inform internal stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance client experiences in the deal and contract lifecycle.
- Manage the sales process following the initial introduction to the client. Work across the organization to facilitate education, feasibility studies, pricing, and any other tasks required to get a signed contract.
- Update all client facing activity in Brightcore CRM to reflect all active opportunities by maturity stage and value to provide a weighted view of activity.
- Work with Brightcore product support and analysts to tailor proposals to exceed client expectations for financial, operational, and sustainability objectives on projects.
- Meet and engage with internal team members in project management, operational support and field/onsite execution members to mobilize formal handoff to the operational team.

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of work experience in client facing roles in energy efficiency and renewable energy.
- Minimum Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or related field.
- A strong desire to learn and contribute to an entrepreneurial team.
- Driven to focus on meeting personal business growth objectives.
- Understand key building systems and renewable energy space.
- Personal & professional interest in furthering a clean energy future.
- A successful approach to client relationship management.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Ability to master complex selling environment to address multiple influences and identify key client business requirements.
- Experience and understanding of energy efficiency and sustainability solutions in the commercial, institutional, or industrial markets.
- Effective client relationship development skills that enable a clear path to key decision makers.
- Local knowledge that enhances an intentional approach to targeted vertical markets.
- Strong teamwork skills that enable multiple disciplines across Brightcore to work seamlessly to achieve the desired client outcome.
- Relentless passion to enable clients to achieve their energy efficiency and sustainability objectives.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position does not have supervisory responsibility.
Expected Hours of Work:
An Employee must work a minimum of thirty (30) hours each week to maintain full-time status for benefits purposes, however the expectations of the position will require an average of forty (40) hours with overtime required as scheduled.
