Develop and implement computer algorithms for analyzing data acquired in a neuroimaging-focused, neuroscience lab. Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement computer algorithms and software for analyzing functional and structural MRI data of the brain and maintain data analysis programs developed over time for those data for neuroimaging-related neuroscience research purposes.
- Develop and apply advanced statistical and analytical approaches to neuroimaging and related data using Python for the purpose of analyzing neuroimaging data.
- Evaluate and resolve software problems for both existing and developing analysis streams for the purpose of processing and analyzing neuroimaging data.
- Prepare program descriptions and documentation both for newly developed and existing analysis software for the purpose of processing and analyzing neuroimaging data.

Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with standard computer programming languages (MATLAB, Python, C/C++, csh, bash).
- Familiarity with neuroimaging software packages (FSL, SPM, FreeSurfer, AFNI and 3D Slicer) preferred but not required.
- Willingness and ability to make programs useful for researchers with varying levels of computer skills.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline.

G11Salary Range
$53,100.00 - $90,600.00 / AnnuallyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.Questions
