Responsibilities

The Mammography Technologist for Northside Hospital’s Choice+ Program performs all types of mammography studies including needle localization and ductograms. Works in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.

Applicants must have at least two (2) years of current experience post-residency/new graduate orientation in the clinical areas in which they will be working.

Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist with certification in Radiography and Mammography R.T. (R) (M) (ARRT).

Qualified to perform stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography.

Certified in American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers (CPR and AED) Program

 

PREFERRED

 

A minimum of one (1) year of travel experience with an external or internal agency program (excluding float pools).

3 years of experience in mammography.

1 year experience in stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography.

Experience in Clinical Research setting.

Must meet competency level requirements for the Choice+ Program.
