The Role
The Senior Analyst of Sales Tools & Analytics will be responsible for the secure configuration, administration, and integration of Presidio’s Salesforce environment. This role ensures that Salesforce remains a trusted, compliant, and high-performing system by managing user access, sandbox environments, and data integrations in coordination with the IT Security and Infrastructure teams.
This position is ideal for a technically savvy analyst who thrives in a security-conscious, integration-heavy enterprise environment.
Responsibilities include:
Security & Compliance
- Enforce Salesforce Security Health Check and partner with Security to close remediation gaps.
- Implement and manage Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), SSO/SAML, and IP restrictions.
- Conduct regular access audits, login history reviews, and field-level permission validations.
- Collaborate with Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) on data privacy (GDPR, SOC 2, HIPAA) standards.
- Maintain and report on audit logs and Shield event monitoring (if applicable).
Integration & Connector Management
- Manage connected apps, API integrations, and middleware (MuleSoft, Workato, Boomi, etc.).
- Administer and monitor Salesforce connectors (e.g., Outlook, Slack, Tableau, Marketing Cloud).
- Partner with internal developers and external partners to validate OAuth scopes, tokens, and security policies.
- Troubleshoot and document integration issues in partnership with IT and vendor teams.
Sandbox & Release Management
- Administer sandbox environments, coordinate refreshes, and maintain data masking for non-production orgs.
- Manage metadata deployment pipelines using DevOps Center, change sets, or third-party tools (e.g., Gearset, Copado).
- Document and enforce environment promotion standards across test, UAT, and production.
- Collaborate with developers and QA to ensure clean release cycles.
Continuous Improvement
- Participate in roadmap discussions for platform evolution and scalability.
- Maintain documentation of configuration, integrations, and system policies.
- Stay current on Salesforce security best practices and new features.
Required Skills and Professional Experience
- 5-7 years of Salesforce Administration experience in a mid-to-large enterprise.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce security controls, profiles, and permission frameworks.
- Experience with API management, OAuth apps, and middleware platforms.
- Familiarity with sandbox management, data masking, and deployment tools.
- Salesforce Certified Analyst (required).
Preferred Skills and Professional Experience
- Salesforce Advanced Analyst or Platform App Builder certification.
- Experience with Salesforce Shield, DevOps Center, or integration tools (MuleSoft / Boomi / Workato).
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as SOC 2, NIST, or ISO 27001.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and identity tools (Okta, Azure AD).
