Responsibilities:
- Interpret customer requirements related to evaluation and demonstration of emerging technologies
- Improve the fidelity of simulated customer platforms
- Work in an agile, collaborative, and open environment with a focus on interoperable systems
- Develop connections with industry and government teams
- Guide industry partners in modification of their technologies to integrate with customer systems
- Create demonstration and transition plans for industry partner capabilities
Must-haves:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
- Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
- progressive experience working in multidisciplinary design & development teams
- Demonstrated understanding and experience with the practical application of requirements development and management, system design, systems integration, technical risk identification, management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
- Experience with integration and deployment of distributed software systems
Preferred:
- Ability to guide technical designs through development and demonstration
- Experience with DoD-focused open architecture specifications like VITA 49, MORA, or OMS
- Knowledge of digital signal processing techniques as applicable to signals intelligence
- Creativity in finding applications of technology for a diverse set of missions
- Experience with model based engineering and associated tools
