Your Job
As a Testing & Validation Engineer, you’ll play a hands-on role in bringing new automotive products to life. You’ll work in a lab-focused environment, building test setups, running experiments, and seeing how products perform under real-world conditions. You’ll take products from concept to reality, developing and executing validation plans that ensure performance, reliability, and durability before they ever reach the road. This is an ideal opportunity for an early-career engineer who enjoys building, testing, troubleshooting, and solving real engineering challenges alongside a collaborative team.
Location: Grand Blanc, MI | Onsite 5 days per week

What You Will Do
- Bring new automotive antenna products to life by developing and executing validation plans that ensure performance in real-world conditions
- Design and build hands-on test setups, fixtures, and methods to evaluate product reliability and functionality
- Run mechanical and environmental testing (vibration, thermal, durability) on prototypes and production parts
- Turn test data into insight, analyzing results to understand material behavior, product performance, and failure points
- Investigate and troubleshoot failures, partnering with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and drive improvements
- Support Design of Experiments (DOE) and validation activities to solve complex engineering and production challenges
- Collaborate with internal teams and external labs to keep testing on track and aligned with program milestones
- Communicate results and recommendations clearly through reports and presentations to stakeholders and customers
- Help evolve lab capabilities by improving test methods, tools, and validation processes
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field
- Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience planning and executing environmental and mechanical testing, including vibration, thermal cycling, thermal shock, humidity, durability, and other qualification testing methods.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, or test requirements through coursework or project work
- Experience documenting and communicating technical results (e.g., lab reports, test summaries, presentations)
- Basic proficiency with CAD tools (e.g., Siemens NX, SolidWorks, Creo, or similar)
