About the Role:

you.com is seeking a skilled Senior Front-End Engineer to contribute to the development of scalable, user-facing applications. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining production front-end code while collaborating closely with product and design teams. The Front-End Engineer will be responsible for delivering a seamless, high-quality user experience across both mobile and desktop platforms, with a focus on performance, reliability, and user-validated feedback loops. Responsibilities

• Develop and Maintain Front-End Applications: Design, implement, and maintain production-grade front-end code using frameworks like React, NextJS, and CSS.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Build and test complex full-stack applications using tools such as Cypress and Storybook to ensure high-quality user experiences.
• State Management and Real-Time Interactions: Create scalable applications that handle complex state management, real-time user events, and intricate UI/UX requirements for both mobile and desktop environments.
• Iterative Development: Collaborate with product and design teams to quickly iterate on features, leveraging user feedback in a tight development loop.
• Performance Optimization: Focus on pixel-perfect front-end implementation, lightning-fast load times, and robust deployment strategies.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with engineering teams using best practices and patterns to ensure efficient communication and rapid delivery of features.
• Infrastructure and Monitoring: Ensure reliable monitoring and deployment strategies for scalable and robust cloud-based infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Technical Expertise: Proven experience with React, NextJS, CSS, and front-end frameworks for building scalable, production-ready applications.

Our salary bands are structured based on a combination of geographic tiers and internal leveling. Compensation is determined by multiple factors assessed during the interview process, with the final offer reflecting these considerations.
