Job Summary

The Program Manager 3 of the Strategic Programs team will be responsible for overseeing the portfolio and roadmap of the Network Operations teams to support our organizational initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional program management and organizational skills, demonstrate competencies in continuous learning, and work effectively with diverse stakeholders. This role requires a deep understanding of organizational change management principles to ensure the successful implementation of programs that align with the company’s goals and objectives.

Job Description

The Technology, Product, Experience (TPX) organization works at the intersection of media and technology and our innovative teams are continually developing and delivering products and next-generation technologies that transform the customer experience. The Comcast Network and CONNECTivity (CONNECT) organization is a highly agile, fast-paced, dedicated group at the forefront of change focused on innovating, building, and operating the best in class, most reliable access network for our customers.

This team is based in our Englewood, CO office and collaborates in person on a hybrid schedule. The role is not available for remote/virtual hiring.

Core Responsibilities

Program Management:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of multiple strategic projects simultaneously.

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or roadblocks.
  • Must possess domain expertise within network operations to speak the same language

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, department heads, and external partners.

  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across all levels of the organization.
  • Conduct regular stakeholder meetings to provide updates, gather feedback, and ensure alignment with project goals.

Continuous Learning and Improvement:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to strategic program management.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, encouraging knowledge sharing and professional development.
  • Implement lessons learned from previous projects to enhance future project outcomes.

Organizational Change Management:

  • Apply change management methodologies to support the adoption and implementation of new initiatives.
  • Develop and execute change management plans that include communication, training, and support strategies.
  • Assess the impact of changes and ensure smooth transitions with minimal disruption to operations.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed documentation of project plans, progress reports, and any changes to scope or objectives.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure all project documentation is organized and accessible for future reference.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Smartsheet
  • 2-3 years experience in a project or program manager role in an Operations space, preferably in a construction or serviceability
  • Experience with Jira
  • Familiarity with P2 preferred
