WEEKEND PACKER / INSPECTOR – 1ST SHIFT

Location: Huntley, IL
Position: Packer / Inspector
Positions Available: 5
Shift: 1st Shift – 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM
Schedule: Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
Pay: $18.76/hour

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Removes completed thermoformed sheets from machines
• Visually inspects each thermoformed sheet
• Removes and sets aside non-conforming products per inspection control plan
• Reports non-conforming parts to operator
• Assembles cardboard cartons
• Removes individual parts and stacks per job specifications
• Loads parts into cartons and seals cartons
• Maintains clean, safe, and organized work area
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Keeps accurate part counts
• Keeps parts neatly stacked
• Makes new boxes
• Maintains a 97% attendance record
• Reads and understands specification sheets
• Self-starting and willing to learn
• Maintains good relationships with inspectors and operators
• Participates in improvement efforts

Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6 months previous production line experience preferred
