Standardized Patient (Nassau County NY, Per diem, Variable schedule, No Benefits)

Portrays various medical, behavioral and emotional scenarios involving established/scripted scenes in support of training of clinical professionals throughout the organization. Provides feedback to clinical professionals (learners) regarding their conduct, response and medical assessment.   Job Responsibilities:

• Portrays medical scenarios or cases with learners in teaching and/or assessment activities.
• Simulates all aspects of the scenario, using history of current problem, affect/behavior and physical findings, in a standardized, accurate and realistic manner.
• Participates with learner in mock interview, counseling and/or a physical examination.
• Provides feedback to learners in a constructive manner as coached.
• Uses ongoing feedback from supervisor/trainer and incorporates into case simulation.
• Accurately and consistently completes History and Physical checklists indicating areas addressed or not addressed by the Learner during scenario assessment.
• Performs related duties as required.

Job Experience & Qualifications:

• 0-1 years of relevant experience, required.
• High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Per diem role, no benefits, variable schedule.
